The free painterly style of Peter’s face beautifully expresses his fear when he tried to walk on the water with Christ (Matthew 14 v 22-36.) The other light shows the Miraculous Draft of Fish. Sax Shaw was for many years head of the stained glass department at Edinburgh College of Art.
