Not as showy as the Choir windows, the beautiful nave windows are still packed with symbolism. Arrival shows a boat coming in to heaven, and the window was particularly chosen to be placed here in the nave of the cathedral – the word “nave” comes from “navis” from which also come naval and navigate, and symbolises the journey through the church towards God.
