There is an unusual building in this landscape of stylised trees and heather clad mountains. It is Hunterston Power Station which was only opened in 1964 so it was very modern architecture at the time the stained glass was designed. The Church at the top of the other lancet is Overton Church, which was the home of this window until 2013, when it was increased in size and given extra tracery lights, ready for the move to West Kilbride Parish Church.
