Welcome to the website of the Scottish Stained Glass Trust and Symposium
The Scottish Stained Glass Trust (SSGT) is a charity dedicated to recording all historic stained glass in Scotland, celebrating the work of Scottish stained glass artists past and present, and ensuring the future of the craft.
The Symposium is a public group whose members share a passion for stained glass – past, present and future – whether in domestic, public or religious contexts.
The Scottish Stained Glass Symposium
The Scottish Stained Glass Symposium (SSGS) is an important part of the Trust’s activities, and it comprises at least two meetings each year, held in various venues with interesting stained glass.
Attendance is free and is open to all. The membership includes artists and enthusiasts, conservators and historians, representatives of religious, charitable and public bodies, all of whom have a keen interest in Scottish stained glass. Support Our Work
Membership fees contribute to the work we are able to do, and the running of the SSGS which is free for all to attend. There is a set annual fee of £20, and we are grateful for any donations we receive over and above this. Whether you wish to offer support on a one-off or recurring basis, you can do this via the button below. This financial support is entirely optional, and separate from membership fees.
